Careful Demolition That Sets the Rebuild Up Right

The old work removed cleanly and safely — protecting what stays, exposing what matters, and leaving a site that's ready to build.

Selective demolition of an old deck in progress by True Carpenters

Overview

Demolition looks simple until something that should have stayed comes down, or a surprise behind the wall stops the whole job. We approach demo as the first step of the rebuild: controlled, protected, and paying attention to what we're opening up.

We handle interior and selective demolition for remodels — cabinets, flooring, walls, decks and fixtures — with dust control, protection for the areas that stay, and clean debris removal. Because we frame and finish too, we demo with the rebuild already in mind.

What this solves

  • A remodel that needs old finishes and structure removed first
  • Tear-outs where the surrounding home has to be protected
  • An old deck or structure that needs to come down safely
  • Not wanting demo debris and dust taking over the house

Materials & methods

  • Dust barriers and floor/surface protection for areas that stay
  • Proper cuts and shoring where structure is involved
  • Safe handling and disposal of removed materials
  • Coordinated debris removal to keep the site workable

Questions

Demolition FAQs

Serving Tampa, St. Petersburg, Sarasota and the rest of the Tampa Bay area.

Do you haul away the debris?

Yes. Debris removal and site cleanup are part of the job unless we agree otherwise up front. We keep the site workable as we go.

Can you do demo only, without the rebuild?

In many cases yes, though demo paired with our framing and finish work is where we add the most value — we take down exactly what the rebuild needs and nothing it doesn't.
